Meet Sheldon Weinbaum

Scientist. Educator. Storyteller.

A distinguished scientist and longtime educator, Sheldon Weinbaum has spent decades exploring how engineering, physics, and biology can help us better understand the world and ourselves. As a CUNY Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering at The City College of New York, his work has contributed to advances in biomechanics, biofluid mechanics, microvascular transport, and bioheat transfer.

But beyond laboratories, equations, and research papers lies another passion: Inspiring Curiosity.
